Dr. Delynn Shattuck, DDS

                                              After graduating from the University of Michigan School                                                              of Dentistry in 1983, Dr. Shattuck built her practice based on                                                       the relationships patients and I developed during the                                                                   quality comprehensive exam we enjoyed during the first                                                             visit.
 

                                             An opportunity to get to know each other, things we had                                                           in common, and a good overview of their existing dental                                                             health and previous experiences that had impacted how                                                             comfortable they were about coming to the dentist.
 

Over the years my patients shared their positive experiences while in my office with friends and family, which meant so much to me, and grew into a practice filled with laughter (believe it or not- during a dental visit!) and a family-like atmosphere.
 

With the skills and commitment of my awesome staff and associates, we’ve been able to take excellent care of those who’ve trusted us with their needs and concerns.
I was able to offer many options for my patients’ care by pursuing extensive Continuing Education during the 39 years I’ve practiced.  I studied with and have been mentored by many of the best speakers and Postgraduate educators in Dentistry. Such vast knowledge offers the opportunity to phase care to help with patients' budgets, provide many services and procedures in the office more efficiently, and make fewer referrals to specialists. 
 

My favorites include Cosmetic bonding to repair broken front teeth for a more natural-looking result.  Also making porcelain crowns and veneers in the office in one visit that look great and are very strong, require less time away from work, and you only have to be numbed once.

All in all, Dentistry is an adventure, and we appreciate every moment of trust in us to provide optimal care for people of the Tri-City area.

Dr. Megan Bischer, DDS

Dr. Megan Bischer is a Bay City native and is excited to be back serving her

tri-city community at Shattuck Dental Care in Saginaw! Megan attended Bay

City Western High School, where her love for the dental field began to grow.

During her junior year of high school, she took the Dental Occupations course

at the Bay Arenac Career Center. With a better understanding of the field, she

became an orthodontic assistant working with Dr. LeBourdais in Bay City.

She completed her Bachelor of Science at Saginaw Valley State University

and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at The University of Michigan.

Dr. Bischer is excited to be back home and treating the community that she

considers family.

 

Dr. Bischer currently lives in Freeland with her mother and father-in-law while she and her husband battle the housing market for the perfect home! You will find Dr. Bischer enjoying all that the Tri-Cities have to offer with golfing and boating at the top of her list!

Dr. Daryle Mahnke, DDS
Dr. Daryle Mahnke started his professional career as an electrical engineer. After graduating from GMI
Engineering and Management Institute (now Kettering University) in Flint, MI, Dr. Mahnke worked for
General Motors designing engine computers for the corporation’s V-6 engines. After more than a decade at
General Motors, Dr. Mahnke decided to make a change. Dr. Mahnke began studying at the University of
Michigan School of Dentistry.
 

After graduation in 2006, Dr. Mahnke completed an additional year of training in a General Practice Residency
at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Ann Arbor. During that year, Dr. Mahnke received additional training in
many areas of dentistry including oral surgery, treating patients with complex medical conditions as well as
refining his general dentistry skills.
 

Dr. Mahnke has attended The Dawson Academy to study all aspects of dentistry including full mouth
restoration of teeth, implants, treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, and advanced esthetics. Dr.
Mahnke continues his affiliation as an Ambassador for The Dawson Academy.
 

Dr. Mahnke has a special interest in providing each patient with individualized care that is right for their dental goals.
