Dr. Derek Sanders, DDS

Derek Sanders, D.D.S was born in Saginaw and spent his childhood in and around the Midland area including Wixom Lake.

​

He attended Hope College after graduating from Dow High. While at Hope, he earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Following his undergraduate work, he continued on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry graduating in 1998.

​

Dr. Sanders is married to Katie (Wildes), another native Midlander. Together, they have two sons, Brendan and Nolan. In his spare time, Dr. Sanders enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and boating. He also spends time coaching and watching his boys play hockey and baseball.

Dr. Tessa Buchanan, DDS

Tessa Buchanan, D.D.S. was born and raised in AuGres, Michigan. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology at Wayne State University, she completed four years of postgraduate education at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry.

​

She began her practice of dentistry in Bay City with Health Delivery, Inc. in 2004, a federally funded community health center treating and educating the underserved.

​

Dr. Buchanan is married to Dr. Scott Vandenbelt, an ophthalmologist in Bay City. They have three children, Clara, Grant, and Laura. They enjoy spending time with family and friends at their cottage in AuGres.

 

Dr. Donald LeBlanc, DDS

Donald LeBlanc, D.D.S attended Michigan State University – where he earned his degree in microbiology in 1998. He continued his education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry graduating in 2002. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. LeBlanc has practiced dentistry in several different capacities.

 

He served with the United States Army National Guard and completed a tour of serving in Iraq.

 

Dr. LeBlanc moved to Midland after his deployment to Iraq, taking over the practice of Dr. Eldon Bailey. Dr. LeBlanc and his staff strive for excellence in patient care and welcome new patients of all ages.
