PROJECT BEE

What's all the buzz?

In an effort to align the Lavender Dental brand, we are happy to announce that we are adopting the effort to "save the bees." We're

calling it "Lavender Dental Project Bee."

It's a logical tie-in. Bees love lavender in bloom. Lavender and bees are, simply put, exceptionally good friends!

Lavender Dental does not seek to align with a cause simply as a “campaign.” Rather, we’d like it to be an intricate part of our overall business strategy helping us to further define who we are, and what we stand for.

This is our entrée into the social responsibility sphere that many businesses and

corporations have become a part of. Corporate social responsibility is a type of

business self-regulation with the aim of social accountability and making a

positive impact on society. Some ways that a company can embrace CSR

include being environmentally friendly and eco-conscious; promoting equality,

diversity, and inclusion in the workplace; treating employees with respect; giving

back to the community; and ensuring business decisions are ethical. The rationale

is not one that is necessarily linked to any bottom line or some financial gain goal,

but one that aligns with a company’s core values.

Project Bee fits our core values. While we are devoted to making our communities healthier through dental education, diagnostics, and treatment we are equally committed to improving the well-being of the communities we serve, society, and the environment.

This is the Lavender way of doing good.

We are committed to building a socially responsible business. And it is our hope that you will join us on this journey.

As part of this effort, we are exploring many ways in which to engage our Lavender team and patients. One link to this very important effort is with Michigan State University's College of Natural Science Michigan Pollinator Initiative,

We welcome you to learn more about this effort including how you can become a Pollinator Champion and also how to make a contribution to the project's mission. You can learn more here.

If we are to provide compassionate care for our patients, we can also provide that same care for the world we live in.
